RE: MDO3104 will not turn on
There could be a few possibilities. If just a software issue reloading or upgrading, the firmware could fix it. See link: https://www.tek.com/en/support/software/firmware/mdo3k-firmware-release-v130
If still not powering up the issue is most likely a hardware issue and a repair will be needed.
Our factory service team can help with that see contact information below. To set up a repair RMA (model and serial number)

RE: Cannot mount shared directory on MDO34
If you are using Network File System (NFS), note that the 3 series support NFS. However if it's Samba, it may not be supported.
3 series supports NFS -
RE: MSO58 cannot get correct IP address for LXI
Unfortunately it sounds like you'll need to send the instrument in for repair. Request an RMA here: https://www.tek.com/en/services/repair/rma-request

RE: MSO46 cannot communicate with O-Scope using USB
The search function in NIMAX doesn't always find instruments. To connect to your scope, navigate to Devices and Interfaces in NIMAX and select Tools. Hover over NI-VISA and select VISA Interactive Control. This will open a new window and you can enter in the scope identification in the Resource to Open bar. The identification will be in the format "USB::Vendor ID::Model ID::Serial Number::INSTR". You can find this information for your scope under Utility > I/O > USB Device port. Once you have typed in the ID, hit enter and this will open the Interactive Control window and allow you to communicate with your scope.

RE: MSO5204 cannot communicate via USBTMC
Any errors with VXI-11 indicate that NI-MAX is trying to communicate with LAN instead of USB. Have you tried communicating with the scope using different apps such as OpenChoice Desktop, or by pinging the IP from the command prompt?

RE: DPO75002SX won't trigger on pulses above 28 GHz
The SX scope trigger system is specified to 25GHz. Above 28GHz, you can try timeout trigger but it's not guaranteed.

RE: Synchronizing the AFG31102 with older Tek models
I would suggest that you synchronize AFGs from the same series, like the AFG31102 and 31052, but it is possible to sync an AFG31000 to an AFG3000. To sync these instruments, you will need to follow the instructions for each individual AFG series to setup the respective units. The 31000 and 3000 AFG series use the same connections, but they have different processes to setup the connection. You will likely also need to input a decent amount of Trigger delay on the master AFG using the AFG31000.
