Hi,
I have setup a simple situation where the DMM triggers from an external source, waits with a timer for lets say 1 second,  then takes 10 measurements (loops) until done.
This works as intended until I try and change that timer value.
I've made a short video to show whats going on, Easier than trying to explain it.
This could be user error but I have a feeling its a bug.

Kind regards

Hello,
My first guess to combat this issue you're encountering is ensuring you are running your instrument on the latest firmware version. See Menu>System>Info-Management and the firmware will be displayed at the top left of your screen. The latest firmware can be found at the link below, version 1.7.12. The instructions on upgrading can be found at that same link under the release notes.
Model DMM6500 Firmware Revision 1.7.12 and Release Notes | Tektronix

Please let us know if that fixes your anomaly!

In addition to checking your firmware level, also take note that when you edit the Timer settings, an Enable Timer button is displayed.
After the new delay value is entered, Press the Enable Timer button to apply those new settings to the timer.
The Enable Timer button then disappears until you again have changed one of the timer settings.

If you were operating from software control and using the timers, setting or editing timer values requires disabling the timer, set the various parameters and then enable it.

Seems the touch screen GUI is detecting a change is made and awaiting for you to apply them with the Enable Timer button.

Thank you both for the fast reply.
The firmware is up-to-date.
This was my fault,user error.
I did not see the start enable timer button!

Thank you for helping out with this

Kind regards,
Jordan
