Hi All,

Is there a way to get the ch label to track with ch. voltage offset? If I set a label and I use position, the label will track, however, when I use offset, the channel label does not move.

This creates a readability issue with automation when I turn on more than 1 channel and add labels, then use voltage offset to position the waveforms. All the labels are overlaid on top of each other in the default position.

I attached a sample of what I am talking about with only 2 channels on...ch3 label is on top of ch1.

Regards,
Mike

Channel labels applied via the Channel Badge will always be lined up with the Channel Handles, whether an offset is used or not.  If you prefer to have a label that is not lined up with the channel handle, you can use the "Callout" feature (button on the upper right corner of the display).  You can add an unlimited number of Callouts.  There are four different types of callouts:

  • Note: simple on-screen text
  • Arrow: on-screen text with an arrow you can use to point at something
  • Rectangle:  on-screen text with a user-sizable/moveable rectangle
  • Bookmark: on-screen text *and* a probe-point that you can position on a trace for an instant readout

The format of the text, including font, size, and color, is all user adjustable.  Callouts can be placed anywhere on the screen.
