Upgrading from 4.1.0022 to the latest version 4.3.0181 will not provide any benefits or new features for your RSA306B. Version 4.3.0181 simply adds new capabilities and features for our oscilloscopes. It should still function the same as 4.1.0022 as far as I know if you accidently installed the later version. It just hasn't been officially tested with the USB powered RSAs, therefore it cannot be recommended.

We do not produce the TPS scope with isolated channels (4 channel, 200 MHz version) anymore. We only have the 2 channel 100 MHz version now. The TBS scope with high voltage has been proven to counteract any floating voltage.

Thank you for contacting Tektronix. The 465B went out of long term product support in 1984. Manuals, schmatics and parts are no longer available from Tektronix. Tektronix doesn't set a user name and/or password. If the scope is asking for one then the someone set it. We don't have a backdoor to get through. If you can't get in then you will have to re load the OS and firmware. It's messy (I know) but it's the only solution we have. The scope shipped with the recovery OS and firmware.

The TDS6804B went out of production in 2006. We no longer have the replacement OS available for sale.

You could send the scope into service.
