  • RE: MSO4034B mixed signal oscilloscope compatibility with the TIVPWS500X probe

Thu, 29 Sep 2022 23:17:09 GMT – MSO4034B mixed signal oscilloscope compatibility with the TIVPWS500X probe

    Hello,

The current TIVP IsoVu Isolated Probes will only work with our newer MSO44, MSO46, MSO5 Series and MSO6 Series scopes. They will not work on the MSO4034B.
There were older IsoVu Isolated Probes the TIVM and TIVH Series IsoVu™ probes that would work on the MSO4034B but they are out of production now.

  • RE: MSO44 Minimum Voltage Range

    Thu, 29 Sep 2022 23:17:05 GMT – MSO44 Minimum Voltage Range

    Hello,

Both of these are 10X attenuation probes, so the scope needs to multiply the voltage at the interface by 10. This is why you see a 5mV/Div minimum. To avoid this, you would need to use a 1X probe.

    Hello,

The frequency measurement algorithm displays the first complete cycle in the record. You can also use cursors to measure the exact cycle you want measured.

Using an SMU236 and an Agilent N9010A spectrum analyzer measuring the voltage difference across a discrete 24K resistor supplying a 20uA current, the recommendation is to apply a Low-Pass Filter on the SMU Output

Please check the time in Windows on the scope is set correctly.
Please check the clock on the scope UI to see if it matches the time in Windows on the scope.
