RE: DPOJET phase noise
hi Pascal,
thanks for the reply.
do you think there would be no FFT window applied?
if no window applied , fft min freq = fs/rec. length = 1/capture time.
it yes, what kind of window used, do you know?

RE: DPOJET phase noise
HI
Can any one tell me what is RWB of jitter spectrum? if my scope sampling freq. is 1.56gHZ and record length is 31.25M.

RE: How do I setup my DPO7354C for Phase Noise Plot
Hi Afonso,
A further question about record length.
how can we extend this record length? in my DSA70000, the limit is about 30M that looks for 2 channels at least at same time, can i make it 30M*2 if i just want to measure one channel signal?
or do you have any other suggestion to expand the record length in additional to buy a newer scope:)
thanks

250M record length is about scope acquisition -
RE: DPOJET version

RE: DPOJET version
hi Afonso,
thanks.
I downloaded the dpojet as you suggested, and it asked me to unintalled the old one, and when i click the installation, it required me to install DJAE package setup v5.0.0 or above before intsall DJA.
can you do me a favor to tell me what shall i do now?
thanks

RE: DPOJET version
hi Afonso,
i noticed that the latest version of the firmware you pointed to is released in 2012. so even i downloaded and installed it, the DPOJET version is still the version is 2.1.1Build 8, and phase noise plot is still wrongly labelled by dBc/sqrt(Hz).
is there any newer version available? My machine is DSA70000B
thanks

thanks Afonso,
that's very helpful!!!

RE: DPOJET version
again.
my current DPOJET version is 2.1.1 Build 8, i guess it is old requires updated, since phase noise label is not right. just want to confirm with you.
another technique question is how to measure two clock sources' relative jitter? thanks
